Malyon-Smith Scholarship Award and Bisexual Foundation Scholarship Award

The Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues (Division 44) is pleased to announce its student research awards program for 2014. The division awards two $1,000 scholarships for outstanding graduate student research proposals:

  1. The Malyon-Smith Scholarship Award is given for a proposal on psychological issues of importance to gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender individuals, groups, or communities.
  2. The Bisexual Foundation Scholarship Award is given for a proposal on the psychology of bisexuality.

Applicants may submit proposals for unpublished studies at any phase of the research process. Students may use the same proposal to apply for both scholarship awards. Proposals must be submitted by February 1, 2014. Please note that we have shifted to fully electronic submission process. Completely submission instructions are provided on the Division 44 website.
