The Forum for International Networking in Education (FINE), is organizing a number of FREE networking events at AERA 2014 in Philadelphia for graduate students in Eduction from U21 Universities:
The FINE Forum will be held from 1pm-5pm on Wednesday, April 2nd at the Marriott Hotel, 1201 Market Street, 4th Level, Room: Franklin 9 and 10. The FINE dinner, which is open to all Forum attendees, will follow at 7pm at Bistro La Minette, 623 South 6th Street (bistrolaminette.com). The Forum will feature a number of guest speakers addressing various aspects of the theme, The Next Five Years. Invited panelists will discuss a range of academic career pathways. The forum also includes opportunities to interact with fellow international graduate students and guest speakers, and advice on how to navigate AERA and other large conferences.
Two breakfasts will be held on Friday, April 4th and Sunday, April 6th (both 7am-8:30am at Fountain Restaurant, Four Seasons Hotel, 1 Logan Square). These breakfasts are an excellent opportunity to connect with other students and Deans of Education from U21 universities.
