Lecture by Gayatri Gopinath at GRSJ UBC

The Institute of Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice would like to draw your attention to an upcoming event that is part of our year-long GRSJ lunchtime Lecture Series.

On Tuesday, September 23rd from 12-1pm there will be a lecture by Dr. Gayatri Gopinath titled Unruly Visions: The Aesthetic Practices of Queer Diaspora. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis, New York University and Director of Asian/Pacific/American Studies.

The event is being held at the Liu Institute Multipurpose Room. Lunch will be provided with an RSVP! However folks are welcome to attend even without an RSVP.

In addition to the lecture, Graduate Students will have the opportunity to attend a Classroom Session with her from 3-4:30pm in Jack Bell Building Room 028.
