This annual competition, administered by the OGPR, is designed to reimburse Faculty of Education graduate students (Magistral or Doctoral) for the financial costs of conducting or producing their own research projects. This year, approximately 20 grants of up to $1000 will be awarded.
Please note that over the past 3 years (when funding was at $10,000 annually) there have been an average number of 37 applications to this initiative and of these applications an average of 12 were funded. These awards were successful based on the following criteria; a) a strong student statement regarding their Research Proposal and a fully justified Budget; b) the student C.V. and, c) a high grade point average.
DEADLINE: Complete application packages are due at the OGPR by 4:00pm, Monday, February 23, 2015. Also note that incomplete applications to OGPR will not be considered.
