Would you like your research and student supervision activities to be more complementary? Can you share wisdom about advancing your research program for the benefit of both you and your graduate students?

Join your peers to discuss the best ways to engage graduate students in your research. A panel of faculty members will jumpstart the conversation, addressing some key questions:

  • selecting students to work on research projects;
  • assigning tasks to students;
  • advancing one’s own research program while supporting the
  • development of students’ research interests and projects;
  • addressing challenges when managing graduate research assistants.

Following brief presentations by the panel, the floor will be opened for group discussion, questions, and the sharing of ideas and strategies.
