Objectives: The Peter Wall Distinguished Scholars in Residence program is directed at tenure-track Full Professors and senior Associate Professors located at UBC-Vancouver. Emeriti may also apply. Recipients of a past appointment are eligible to apply again after five years of completing their term. Up to six one-year appointments of outstanding senior UBC scholars are made each year. The selection of scholars is based on recognized research excellence in line with the mandate of the Institute, in particular being oriented to basic research and being interdisciplinary. [more]
