Value: Maximum of $200,000 over a period of up to 2 years |$2M available, enough to fund approx. 10 grants
Objective: Increase the uptake/application of knowledge by supporting partnerships between researchers and knowledge-users to bridge a knowledge-to-action gap, and in so doing, increase the understanding of knowledge application through the process.
Application deadlines:
- September 26: OGPR deadline for faculty level signature.
- September 29: ORS deadline for institutional signature & e-approval.
- October 1: CIHR national deadline.
Special notes: For your application to be eligible, it must include at least two project leaders: one independent researcher and one knowledge user. CIHR strongly recommends that each team include a content expert, an expert in synthesis methods and an information scientist/librarian. Applications are submitted via ResearchNet and electronically approved and submitted to CIHR by ORS on behalf of the applicant.
