Application deadlines:
- January 28 Noon: OGPR internal signature deadline. Applicants should email Robert Olaj a PDF of their proposal with a completed, signed and scanned ORS Research Project Information Form.
- January 29: Robert Olaj in the OGPR will email your PDF application and signed RPIF to ORS on your behalf.
- February 2 (1st is a Sunday): SSHRC national deadline (next rounds: Feb. May 1, Aug. 1, Nov. 1 )

Applicants/project directors or Co-Applicants on any project funded through a SSHRC Connection Grant that is still active are not eligible to apply for an individual Connection Grant. Co-Applicants for Connections Grants (only) may be from non-academic organizations.
SSHRC Insight Development Grant (IDG) Information Session
This information session will provide an overview of the IDG program objectives and requirements and offer tips for creating a competitive proposal. Participants will benefit from having a recent SSHRC IDG reviewer present who can provide strategic advice on creating a successful application.
Operating Grant: Transitional Operating Grant 2014-2015
Sponsor: Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) Science, Knowledge Translation and Ethics Branch
Application deadlines:
- February 19: OGPR deadline for faculty level signature.
- February 23: ORS deadline for institutional signature & e-approval.
- March 2: CIHR national deadline.
Special notes: Applications are submitted via ResearchNet and electronically approved and submitted to CIHR by ORS on behalf of the applicant. CIHR is expecting “increased application pressure” for this competition. Please contact Heather Frost if you are interested in applying.
