Rix Professorship in Rural Education Candidate Presentation – Dr. Donehower

The Faculty of Education is very pleased to host Dr. Kim Donehower, a candidate for the Eleanor Rix Professorship in Rural Education, on November 16 and 17! Dr. Donehower’s scholarship is on the role of literacy and literacy education in sustaining rural communities. Her work with the National Writing Project (which she led for 12 years) continues to support teachers in developing innovative and place based curriculum.

You are encouraged to attend Dr. Donehower’s presentation to learn about her research programs, ask questions, and provide feedback to the selection committee. In addition to this Faculty-wide presentation (open to faculty, staff and students), Dr. Donehower will also be meeting separately with faculty members and graduate students.
