Value: up to $50,000 USD
Objectives: Support for research that falls within four areas of inquiry that identify broad topics that the Foundation believes have fundamental and abiding importance for educational improvement: educational and social opportunity, organizational learning, purposes and values of education and teaching, learning and educational resources. Proposals that don’t fit within one of these broad areas may be submitted as a field-initiated proposal.
Application deadlines:
- February 2: OGPR deadline for faculty-level signature.
- February 3: ORS deadline for institutional review and signature.
- February 5: Spencer foundation deadline (4 pm CST).
Special Notes: The Spencer Foundation specifies that budgets of less than $50,000 may not include indirect costs. Please contact Heather Frost if you are considering applying.
