Value: 12 research awards of $10,000 to bring some of the world’s best scholars to UBC.
Objectives:
- To bring outstanding international scholars to UBC for extended visits (minimum 3 weeks), in partnership with UBC’s Faculties, departments and research centres.
- To foster basic and advanced research in an interdisciplinary research environment.
- To serve as a catalyst for longer-term interdisciplinary research relationships through the Institute.
Application deadlines:
- February 16: Email your draft to Robert Olaj for internal review and feedback (optional).
- February 26 Noon: OGPR internal signature deadline. Applicants should email Robert Olaj a copy of their application with a completed, signed and scanned ORS Research Project Information Form.
- March 1 (Sunday): Electronic package to PWIAS.
- March 2: Paper copies to PWIAS.
