MSFHR Implementation Science Team Program

The MSFHR Implementation Science Team (IST) Program is a new funding opportunity designed to support the implementation and adoption of evidence-based, implementation-ready interventions that will improve the quality and effectiveness of health, health services and care in BC.
Value:
The IST competition consists of two phases, a Development Grant ($10,000) and a Project Grant ($500,000).

2018 MSFHR Research Trainee Competition
Sponsor: Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR)
The MSFHR 2018 Research Trainee competition supports BC health researchers in the training phase of their research career.
Value:
Each Research Trainee award provides funding for up to three years to help protect time for health research activities, enable career development and support the long-term success of the BC health research landscape.

Cofund on Sex, Gender and UN Sustainable Development Goals
Sponsor: GENDER-NET Plus
CIHR is part of an international consortium (GENDER-NET Plus), which will support research that explores the importance of sex and gender in health. GENDER-NET Plus will take the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a point of departure for the topics of this call.
Value:
The total amount available for Canadian researchers from CIHR is $1.5 million CAD, enough to fund five (5) grants. The maximum amount available is $100,000 CAD per year for up to three (3) years for a total of $300,000 CAD, per grant.
