1:00 p.m. – Opening Remarks and Keynote Speaker
Dr. Shelley Hymel, Professor (ECPS) shares her passion for research that engages the community to make a difference.
2:00 p.m. – Methodology Minglers
Join interactive sessions led by faculty members to discuss methodology issues arising from your work in progress and explore new perspectives. Register before May 15th to ensure that your questions will be communicated to the facilitators!

Passionate graduate students and faculty members will go straight to the heart of their research, presenting important research questions and findings in 3 minutes or less. Discover critical research problems and their implications for knowledge, practice, and policy.
5:15 p.m. – “Research Careers that Matter” Panel with Indigenous Alumni
Learn from the experience of three alumni from our Faculty’s graduate programs about navigating the job market and pursuing your career in relation to research. The panel, in the context of the Year of Indigenous Education, will celebrate three Indigenous scholars. Their experience will resonate with all graduate students and faculty members who care about educational and social change.
