SSHRC Insight Grants: Humanities Perspectives

Is your research rooted in or aligned with the humanities? Are you interested in learning how to best frame your work for a SSHRC Insight Grant application? If so, then this session may be of interest to you.

The Faculties of Education and Arts are pleased to co-host a Q&A session on crafting a compelling humanities-oriented SSHRC Insight Grant proposal. Two grant holders will be available to discuss their application experience and provide general insights on preparing a successful application.

The speakers are recent Insight Grant awardees Dr. Mary Chapman, Professor of English, specializing in late 19 and early 20 century American literature, and Dr. Carrie Jenkins, Professor of Philosophy and CRC specializing in epistemology and metaphysics. Mr. Robert Olaj, Research Development & Grant Facilitator in Education, will also be in attendance to provide program updates and answer any questions on application guidelines or submission processes.
