The Office of Research in Education is presenting a graduate student Tri-Agency information session on July 12, 2019, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Room 2012 at Ponderosa Commons Oak House (6445 University Boulevard).
Hosted by Drs. Patsy Duff and Teresa Dobson, the workshop will provide resources for doctoral students applying for funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), as well as UBC Affiliated Fellowships.
Topics covered will include what makes an excellent program of study description as part of your proposal, what should you include in your description of your track record, and what is the best way to interact with and approach referees.
