Congratulations to Dr. Rob Bedi in the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology, and Special Education for receiving a $44,000 Senior Research Fellowship Award from the Indian Council of Cultural Relationships.
This fellowship will support Dr. Bedi to conduct research while residing in India. He will be travelling to India in April 2016 and again in April 2017 for one semester each trip. The research project is entitled, “Incorporating Indian Cultural Traditions into Counselling Individuals of Indian descent: Both in India and Abroad.”
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations is a Government of India organization. Its objectives are to actively participate in the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes pertaining to India’s external cultural relations; to foster and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries; to promote cultural exchanges with other countries and people; and to develop relations with nations.
