Objective: to contribute to the creation, dissemination and use of health-related knowledge, and to help develop and maintain Canadian health research capacity, by supporting original, high quality projects or teams/programs of research proposed and conducted by individual researchers or groups of researchers, in all areas of health.
Application deadlines:
- January 9: CIHR registration deadline (mandatory).
- February 19: OGPR deadline for faculty level signature.
- February 23: ORS deadline for institutional signature and e-approval.
- March 2: CIHR national deadline.
Special notes: Applications are submitted via ResearchNet and electronically approved and submitted to CIHR by ORS on behalf of the applicant. CIHR is expecting “increased application pressure” for this competition. Please contact Heather Frost if you are interested in applying.
