Joining young children in the outdoors opens up new possibilities for being with children. Our natural landscape is filled with wonderful invitations for movement, play, exploration, study and discovery. Join us for a one-day workshop in which Dr. Enid Elliot will share her experiences from working closely with the outdoor kindergarten in Sooke, B.C. as a springboard for discussions about the possibilities that children and educators can experience outside with young children.

This event is FREE and will be of interest to educators and students who are interested in the topic of young children and outdoor/nature education.  Spaces are limited. “Come dressed for the weather,  as we will spend part of the day outside.”

Light refreshments will be served. Please feel free to bring your own lunch.

Certificate of participation will be provided.
