Research Services

We are committed to your success as a researcher. The Research Services team offers many services to support the advancement of the research program of individual faculty members and research groups, including Centres and Institutes.

The Faculty of Education’s ‘Central’ Research Space Allocation Guidelines outline a set of guiding principles to inform the allocation and management of all ‘central’ research spaces within the Faculty that are not part of Departmental space. The complete guidelines can be reviewed here: Research Space Allocation Guidelines

The use and administration of research awards must follow specific rules and guidelines set by the Faculty, the University, and funding sponsors such as Tri-Council agencies (SSHRC, CIHR and NSERC). Complementing supports offered by departments and units, we can provide assistance, advice, and support.

The goal of the Research Infrastructure Support Services Program (RISS) is to provide Education faculty members with the infrastructure support they need to assume scholarly leadership roles and to pursue excellent research. The RISS program complements regular research grants and seed funding by supporting leadership activities and research infrastructure that are ineligible for support from those other sources. RISS assistance complements department-based support and applicants are expected to request department support as part of the application process. Visit the Research Infrastructure Support Services Program page for more information.

Disseminating information about your research and research-related events in the right format to the right audience can have great impact on your capacity to attract partners, participants, and funding for your research program. We can provide assistance in the development of print, electronic and audiovisual materials. Bring your ideas! You may request marketing support through the Research Infrastructure Support Services Program.
