At the May 2018 Congregation ceremony, a gold medal is awarded to the UBC graduate student whose record is the best in the graduating class for the Doctoral degree. A second gold medal is awarded to the graduate student whose record is the best in the graduating class for the Master’s degree with thesis. Eligibility note:
Students must have submitted the final copy of their theses to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.
Please note:
(1) the internal Faculty of Education deadline for submission of applications to the Office of Research is Monday, February 12, 2018 by 4 PM. Please submit applications electronically to educ.ore@ubc.ca.
(2) SIS printouts signed and stamped by the Department are acceptable as substitutes for official UBC transcripts.
